Data on selected soil physical (bulk density, texture) and chemical properties (pH, ammonium, nitrate and bray P, total C and N, exchangeable cations, CEC, trace metals), measured adjacent to LTER permanent plots for sampling plant biomass and species composition. Sampling is done every five years, and specific watersheds sampled have varied over time, as a result of new watersheds and experimental locations being added. Not all variables are measured at all sampling periods.
